Worship Ministry
The Worship Ministry of Hixson First Baptist is made up of singers, musicians, and people who serve with the tech team. They love God and want to express that love as an offering to Him. There are many ways to serve, and you’re invited to join us—whether you sing, play an instrument, or enjoy working behind the scenes.
Worship Team & Choir
Our worship teams and choir are directed by Tyler Shannon and rehearse on Wednesday nights at 7:15 p.m. in the sanctuary.
All voices are welcome—no prior experience required.
This is a great place to grow, serve, and worship with others.

Worship Band & Orchestra
The worship band and orchestra are also directed by Tyler Shannon, and all instruments are welcome.
Rehearsal Time: Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m.

If you enjoy using or growing your creative abilities, there are opportunities for all ages. There’s always a need for volunteers to help with the technical aspects of our worship experiences—sound, staging, media, and more.
