Kids and Students
Bringing Kids & Students?
During our 9am worship service on Sunday, childcare is provided for children up to 3 years old. Children 4 years and older attend worship with their parents during the 9am worship service.
KidZ Life Groups take place at 10:10am on Sunday during which children from babies up to 5th grade will attend a group appropriate for their age for Bible study and fellowship.
During our 11:15am worship service on Sunday, childcare is provided for children up to 3 years old. Children 4 years through 5th grade will meet in the sanctuary. After they have participated in singing some worship songs with their church family, will be dismissed and escorted under adult supervision to the KidZ Jam Worship area.

New places can feel a little overwhelming—we get it. Here are some quick answers to common questions so you’ll know what to expect before you arrive at Hixson First Baptist.
We gather for Life Groups at 10:10 am and worship together at 9 & 11:15 am every Sunday, both in person and online. Our midweek Bible study and activities meet on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm.
Come as you are. You’ll see everything from jeans and T-shirts to business casual. We’re much more interested in who you are than what you wear.
When you turn in from Grubb Road, look for guest parking near the main entrance. Our greeters will be ready to point you to the worship center, kids’ check-in, and restrooms.
Nursery is available for birth–age 3. Kids ages 4–5th grade enjoy Kidz Jam, a fun, Bible-centered worship time after starting in the main service. Students 6th–12th grade join a 10:10 am Life Group and then the 11:15 am worship service with friends and leaders.
Yes. All kids’ and student areas use a simple check-in system and are led by screened volunteers and staff. Our goal is a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for every child.
Our Sunday worship service typically lasts about 60–75 minutes, including music, prayer, and a message from the Bible.
Yes. Our Spanish-speaking congregation, Hixson Primera Iglesia Bautista, meets in the Christian Life Center with Bible study at 9:30 am and worship at 10:45 am.
