Senior's Ministry
Senior adults at Hixson First Baptist are some of the greatest people in the world—at least we think so! They are active and involved in nearly every ministry of our church. They love to have fun, enjoy fellowship, travel together, and faithfully serve others in Jesus’ name.
Ministry Opportunities
Our senior adults love God and strive to serve Him with their whole heart. Some of the ways they serve include:
Caring for our community – Providing food each month to the ICU of a local hospital.
Loving our church family – Helping provide meals to shut-ins and members in need.
Encouraging senior neighbors – Sharing music and entertainment at local life care centers and retirement homes.
Serving through Sparrow’s Nest – Volunteering weekly in our Sparrow’s Nest food pantry, giving out food and sharing the hope of Christ with a hungry community.
Senior adults at HFBC are not content to sit on the sidelines—they are an essential part of our mission to serve and share Jesus.
