Missions

Missions

Here at Hixson First Baptist, we believe there are many ways to be “on mission” with God. We are always looking for new opportunities to take the Good News of Jesus into our local community, state, nation, and around the globe. Our church is committed to sharing the Gospel locally and around the world through prayer, financial support, and partnerships that proclaim Jesus Christ and serve people in need.

How We Support Missions

The Cooperative Program

Our annual giving through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program, Lottie Moon Christmas Offering, and Annie Armstrong Easter Offering helps support missionaries serving across the United States and around the world.

Tennessee Baptist Missions

We are one of the leading churches in the Tennessee Baptist Convention in annual giving to The Golden Missions Offering of the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board.

Other Missions Partners

In addition to our regular offerings for Southern Baptist and Tennessee Baptist missions, we receive a special missions offering throughout the year that supports other like-minded ministries serving our local community and other parts of the world in practical, Gospel-centered ministries.

Those other missions partners are listed below.
